Winner of the Birthday Cake Contest $100.00 Savings Bond was Ersa Skjerli of West Union

West Union, WV - ATTENTION ALL CAKE MAKERS, YOUNG AND OLD!!!!

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO WIN 100 DOLLAR SAVINGS BOND? HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO BE FAMOUS? HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED PEOPLE TO KNOW YOU HAVE TALENT?

If so, here's how!!!

West Union is having a cake contest! Here is your chance to show off your baking and decorating skills to the World via West Union!

The contest is on JULY 21 , 2007 at the annual WESTUNIONFEST, but you must register ahead of time.

Those interested in baking a cake must register by NOON on JULY, 17, 2007. Contact West Union Town Hall or EMail: info@westunionfest.org.

Entries should include your name and contact information and may be mailed to:

WEST UNION, WV 26456

Judging will be on decorating and originality. Cakes may be themed as a Birthday Cake, 126th Birthday or Anniversary Cake, or anything about West Union (Sure - make it humorous - we dare you!<G>) There are endless possibilities, so let your imagination run wild!! All decorations must be edible - cakes will be served to the multitude! :)

Cake must be delivered to Main Street by 10AM JULY 21, 2007.

Have your photo taken with our celebrity cake cutter...

Prizes for all entries - First Place will be $100.00 Savings Bond, Second and Third will be Aprons with Town of West Union Seal (on display at the Town Hall), all others will be the "Great Ice Cube Cookbook"!
