Use your imagination, and get that costume ready!! We are having OUR ANNUAL VICTORIAN COSTUME COMPETITION at the  WEST UNION FEST 130!!!!!

• Costumes should reflect the styles of the turn of the Century (around 1900).
• 'Costume' is the key word - historical accuracy is not as important as the overall look.
• Allowances will be made for the heat, so short-sleeves are acceptable. 

ALL PERIOD COSTUMES QUALIFY.

Best Victorian Costume Contest - 4:30 PM on Main Street.  (Registration begins at Noon)

Costumes should reflect the styles of the turn of the Century (around 1900)

'Costume' is the key word - historical accuracy is not as important as the overall look.  (Allowances will definitely be made for the heat <G> Short sleeves are acceptable.)

We are all familiar with this lady   

- but remember - this was also the time of Annie Oakley, the Great Train Robbery,  .  Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp

(gentlemen - do not leave home without your mustaches  <G>) 

West Union had farmers and oil barons, bankers, shopkeepers, and teachers...  All period costumes qualify!
