Contest Rules:
Contest will be held during the WestUnionFest 2008 on July 26, 2008 at 2 pm on Main Street. Contestants will be allowed to select pie flavor from available pies on hand on a first come, first served basis.
Registration deadline for contest is July 24, 2008.
Duration of the contest is 5 minutes. No hands can be used to eat the pie. Any contestant who uses hands to assist them in eating the pie will be disqualified.
It is recommended that you bring an old shirt to wear over your clothes or bring a change of shirt because you will get messy!
At the end of the 5 minute contest, the contestant who has eaten the most of his/her pie will be declared the 1st place winner. Any pie falling outside of the contestant's pie pan during the contest will be returned to the pan so that the judge can accurately determine the actual amount of pie consumed by each contestant. The judge (s) will confer at the end of the contest to decide the winners and the decisions of the judge(s) is final.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded. All prizes will be awarded immediately following the contest.
1st place prize will be $25 cash. 2nd place prize will be a gift basket of pie making supplies. 3rd place prize will be a whole pie. All other participants will receive a small prize.

I agree to be bound by all rules of the contest and the decisions of the officials. I hearby release and discharge the organization and sponsors holding this event, its agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, courses of action, and suits which shall or may have arisen from my participation in this event.
I hereby give permission for my photograph to be taken and West UnionFest is granted the right to use any and all pictures taken.
