The Mayor, Charles Langfitt, of the Town of West Union has received a letter from Senator Robert Byrd, congratulating our Town on its "long and colorful history", and applauding our Economic Revitalization plans.
This letter had an attachment: the speech that he gave on the Senate Floor on June 6, 2006. Click to read a copy of Senator Byrd's speech, which is now a permanent part of the United States' Congressional Record.
