Transportation for WestUnionFest

 WestUnionFest 127, on July 26th, 2008 will have transportation - thanks to Doddridge County EDA!!  Whether you park at Smithburg or at West Union, you will have shuttle transportation.

 First – for the “Train on the Tracks” 5K, there will be a van leaving Howard’s Carpet at 7AM and at 7:30AM going to the Start Line at the Smithton Depot in Spencer Park.  (Registration ends at 7:45AM, and Race / Walk begins promptly at 8:00 AM)  There will be registration forms on the bus, but it is strongly recommended that you pre-register.

Hardly Able Carriage Company will be running a Shuttle on the Rail Trail beginning at West Union City Park at 9:00AM – Schedule to follow:

For those parking in Smithburg, please note the last shuttle time to Smithton Depot.  (We have a rare chance to see Smithton Depot Museum – it will be open from 9:AM to 1PM on Fest Day.  Also, the DCFRN will keep the bathrooms open in Smithburg from 7AM to 1PM.)  Last stop brings shuttle back to West Union City Park at 5:30 PM.
Shuttle times are approximate and we cannot judge loading and unloading time.  Please be patient - and make any suggestions for next year to info@westunionfest.org
